Kelly Haugen, LCPC
Kelly Haugen, LCPC, has joined the clinical staff of Shodair Children’s Hospital as a primary therapist for its adolescent patients.
Kelly received her bachelor of science degree in psychology in 2007, and her master’s degree in Health and Human Development - Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University in 2010.
In between undergraduate and graduate school, Kelly spent a year working in St. Regis as a behavior specialist in a comprehensive school and community treatment program. She also functioned as a community psychiatric rehabilitation specialist and a treatment manager for family-based services.
During her master’s program, Kelly completed her internship at Montana State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, where she worked with young adults and adults facing a variety of mental health issues.
Immediately after completing her master’s, Kelly worked as a therapist for a comprehensive school and community treatment program providing individual, group, and family therapy. She served students who ranged from kindergarteners through high school seniors.
Kelly’s areas of interest include working with at-risk youth, family dynamics, mindfulness, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
