Psychiatry Staff

Kate Schiel is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner working on the adolescent acute unit. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing and was board certified as a PMHNP in 2021. She previously worked as an emergency room nurse in North Dakota, Colorado, and Montana since 2016.  Before finding her passion in nursing, Kate obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2012. 

Growing up in Missoula, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and rafting with her husband and three dogs.
