Dr. Kathryn Brogan

Psychiatrist

Dr. Kathryn Brogan joined the Shodair psychiatric treatment team at Shodair Children’s Hospital in 2021. She is the attending psychiatrist on the adolescent residential unit where she specializes in the psychiatric treatment of teenagers with mood, psychotic, and trauma-related disorders.

Dr. Brogan earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2016 before completing her Psychiatric Internship and Residency at Northwestern University and her Child Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Brogan was elected as Chief Fellow for the latter portion of her training.

Dr. Brogan is also involved in the Big Sky Chapter of AACAP and the Montana Psychiatric Association. She has been a delegate on the state and national level, advocating for Montana mental health patients and families. Dr. Brogan is passionate about teaching the upcoming generation of mental health providers and engaging with community members on mental health issues.
