Michelle Marshal joined the Shodair team as the Director of Social Services in May of 2019. Michelle comes to Shodair with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montana State University. In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Child Development and Family Science with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from North Dakota State University. She has additional training and certification as a Mental Health Professional Person in Montana as well.
Michelle has been licensed since 2005 as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has had extensive experience with children, families, adults, homelessness, adult foster care, group home settings, programs for assertive community treatment, and crisis intervention. Michelle was the previous director of a local mental health center and supervised a variety of programs and individuals in a four-county region along with working as an on-call member of the local crisis response team in Lewis & Clark County.
In Michelle’s spare time she loves spending time with her family. Her favorite ways to relax are through hiking, reading, and cooking.
