2020 Shodair Soccer Classic Cancelled

Like most of you, Shodair Children’s Hospital has kept a very close eye on the evolving developments of COVID-19 the past few months. We are all operating under uncertain conditions and it’s hard for us to predict how things will turn around in the next few months. Because of that, the Shodair Soccer Classic Planning Committee made the difficult – but responsible – decision to cancel this year’s Soccer Classic in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This was not an easy decision for the hospital to make and we know many players, fans and supporters will be sad to hear this news. However, it is more important to us to be proactive and lean on the side of caution rather than risking the safety and well-being of the players, their families, spectators, and our volunteers.

We will miss working with our volunteers who help put on this Classic every year, and we will also miss working with our many sponsors who make this event possible.

A big shout out to our supporters who continue to assist in making this soccer showcase of Montana’s top high school players every year.

This was not an easy decision to make for the Committee and we appreciate your understanding.
