Future of Shodair
. . .
Shodair Children’s Hospital is in the process of implementing a $62 million construction and renovation project featuring a gleaming new hospital building – a model for pediatric behavioral care. We are also renovating our existing infrastructure to be utilized for administration offices and support services. The addition of a second medical office building will accommodate a more comprehensive medical genetics program, outpatient services, and day treatment while limiting expensive overhead and building costs.
Shodair’s facility on Helena’s main campus has housed our services for over 30 years.
A new building will provide private rooms for all patients and will be more therapeutic, efficient, and effective for patients and their families with space to serve all needs.
This new project and building at Shodair is about continually taking care of Montana families. Shodair means hope for the patients we take care of. Shodair has been around for 125 years and there have been a lot of changes over the years. The one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to Montana.
