Dr. Seth Simpson

Psychiatrist

Dr. Seth Simpson is both a pediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist. He started at Shodair in the summer of 2021. He was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field by his parents, both of whom are registered nurses. Dr. Simpson strives to collaborate with his patients and their families to build relationships and achieve their healthcare goals by designing individual treatment plans tailored to each patient. He has performed research related to the use of psychotropic medications to better understand the use of these medications in pediatric populations.  He attended medical school at Michigan State University where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.  He trained in the Triple Board program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he completed residencies in pediatrics and adult psychiatry, as well as a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
