Maria Valdenegro

Chief Financial Officer

Maria Valdenegro has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Shodair since 2018 and is proud to be a part of such a dedicated, mission focused team. She has her BS in Finance and MBA from the University of Maryland (go Terps). She grew up in an Army family, and has lived in numerous places, including the Philadelphia region prior to joining Shodair. Her career in healthcare has included leadership roles in geriatric care and behavioral health. A key focus of hers as CFO is ensuring Shodair is able to serve all families that need assistance, regardless of their ability to pay or other circumstances. This is accomplished through strong financial stewardship and consistent analysis and collaboration with all levels of the organization. It is very fulfilling work, and she is excited to be able to support our mission and Montana families now and in the future. During her free time, she loves attending concerts, family time, and enjoying nature.
