Ray Penyak

Chief Nursing Officer

Ray Penyak joined the administrative team at Shodair in 2022 as the organization’s Chief Nursing Officer. Ray is originally from the Philadelphia, Penn. area and attended nursing school at Gwynedd Mercy University.  Ray has spent his nursing career exclusively in the specialty of behavioral health, much of this time in child and adolescent. Ray moved to Montana in 2019 and worked at Benefis in Great Falls before joining the Shodair team. Ray brings experience in nursing leadership in both acute care and psychiatric hospitals. As a proud psychiatric nurse, Ray is focused on development of nursing staff and leadership to hone skills within the specialty ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided to patients. Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with his incredible wife and animals including cats, dogs, chickens, and cows
