Samantha Pierson-Hartwig, Family Nurse Practitioner, has been practicing with Shodair Children’s Hospital since 2023. Samantha graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carroll College in 2014. She started her nursing career at a busy pediatric clinic, Partners in Pediatrics, and eventually moved to the float department at the local hospital, covering all units. While working at the hospital she preferred to work in the ER or house supervisor role, but also enjoyed the pediatric unit and the oncology unit. She graduated from Gonzaga University’s Master of Nursing program and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree. She spent nearly a year working in adult mental health, as a nurse practitioner, before realizing that she really enjoyed working with children and adolescents and decided to return to her roots.

Samantha has lived in the Helena community for over 20 years, and she enjoys fishing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
