Caitlyn identifies as a Montana native, mother of three witty and hilarious children, a volunteer, and proud chaos co-manager with her husband. She graduated from the nursing program at Carroll College and subsequently Montana State University earning her doctorate in nursing. Since 2016 she’s been a part of the Shodair team. She started as a nurse on the inpatient psychiatric side working with adolescents. In 2020, she began her metabolic and genetics journey as a nurse coordinator in the Medical Genetics department at Shodair. In 2022, she graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and now serves as a nurse practitioner caring for patients who are at risk for, or are affected by, metabolic and genetic conditions. Her professional aim and passion is helping create evidenced-based medical homes that provide holistic services to patients with rare disease and their caregivers. She thrives when collaborating with a team and values building relationships with patients and families.
