Deanna Armstrong, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Deanna Armstrong graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Zoology, received her medical degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Fellowship at University of Texas at Houston. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
She has been an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of Texas at Houston, University of New Mexico and University of Mississippi Medical Center, working with the Hospital Consult-Liaison services as well as with initiatives to support persons with developmental disabilities living in the community. More recently she has supervised University of Washington Psychiatry Residents in Spokane during their outpatient Child & Adolescent rotations with Frontier Behavioral Health. She has always had a special interest in improving access to care for those living in rural areas.
Her husband is a native of the Flathead Valley and they are happy to be back in Montana, closer to family, where they enjoy spending time in the outdoors.
