Psychiatry Staff

Nikki LaRue, APRN, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner on the Grasslands Acute Unit and in the outpatient clinic. She re-joined the team in August 2017, having worked at Shodair previously from 2004 to 2014.  Nikki earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 from the University of Michigan, worked in different positions from cardiology to home health care, and then moved to Montana in 2002.  Nikki joined Shodair in 2004 and worked as a staff nurse, then Unit Manager of a residential unit, Nurse Manager of the acute unit, and as an Infection Control Nurse. She attended Montana State University, earned her Master of Nursing degree and completed her board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014.  Nikki comes back to Shodair with 3 years of experience as a psychiatric provider of children and adolescents in outpatient services.
