Willow Sheehan

Genetic Nurse Practitioner, DNP, FNP-C

Willow Sheehan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Nursing Practice from Montana Technological University in 2011. As a nurse, she enjoyed practicing in the emergency room, medical surgical unit, and in interventional pain management. Looking toward advanced practice, Willow earned her Doctor of Nursing practice from Montana State University in 2018 and joined the Shodair Genetics team in 2019. Willow has grown in her role as a genetic clinician through mentorship, on-the job training, continuing education, and post-graduate certification. She enjoys working with individuals and families at risk of genetic conditions throughout their lifespan. She is honored to serve as a Director at Large on the inaugural board for Clinical Genetics Advance Practice Providers (CGAPP) and is a member of the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). As a Montana native, she is committed to providing equal access to genetic care in rural communities.
