Bernadette Miller is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Shodair Children’s Hospital. Bernadette graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Psychology and The University of Providence with a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. At Shodair, Bernadette sees individuals and families for therapy, offers group therapy and works with team of professionals on the Glacier Adolescent Residential Unit. She enjoys working with professional educators, allied therapists, nurses and psychiatric technical staff as well as with school psychologist, speech and language pathologist, nutritionists, pharmacists and nurse practitioners to provide integrated behavioral health supporting a person’s physical and mental wellness.
Bernadette’s work history includes 10 years working for the State of Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services as a disability insurance adjudicator and state disability hearing officer, then as a Clinical Program Manager for Addictive and Mental Disorders Division.
Bernadette has maintained a private practice in Helena for the past 20 years specializing in chronic pain management, anxiety and mood management, applied psychophysiology and integrated behavioral health.
She enjoys parenting, music, hiking and social justice involvement working on behalf of others.
